Wild Frontier
Land of Lakes
Wilpattu is Sri Lanka's largest and one of its oldest national parks. The name means 'Land of Lakes' in Tamil, referring to the unique villus (natural lakes) that dot the landscape.
Less crowded than Yala, Wilpattu offers a more intimate safari experience with excellent chances of spotting leopards, sloth bears, and elephants.
